Of Pittsburgh Medical Center Health Plan (UPMC HP) is
the second largest HMO in western Pennsylvania and is a
component in the states largest integrated healthcare
delivery system. Covering
over 435,000 lives, UPMC Health Plan selected our Claim
Overpayment System to supplement their MC400* claims
administration system in order to identify and reprocess
duplicate claims and claims that are ineligible for
payment. UPMC
Health Plan is an NCQA accredited health plan and has
received the coveted "Excellent" status, which
only 25% of the nations health plans achieve.
Maricopa Managed Care Systems

Managed Care Systems is located in Phoenix, Arizona, and
is a part of the Maricopa Integrated Health System. MIHS
is sponsored by the Maricopa County government and
provides health care to low income residents. Maricopa
Managed Care Systems contracts with Arizona Health Care
Cost Containment Systems, which is the states Medicaid
program. In
2003 MMCS needed to quickly identify duplicate
claims. It called on Pilot Information Systems to
install it's claim Overpayment System on its IBM AS/400*
system and within a week had correctly identified and
reprocessed all of its overpayments. MMCS
found the system to be so indispensable that it elected
to keep using it beyond its original time frame
and is still installed on their IBM computer.
